Support and Same Day Booking
Most participants end up splitting supports across three or four providers, which means telling your story three or four times and chasing three or four sets of invoices. Maple Community Services is a registered NDIS service provider that covers the whole plan under one team, so your support workers, your coordinator and your plan manager are all reading from the same page.
We also deliver complex care and High Intensity Daily Personal Activities (HIDPA), and we assess every referral on whether we can deliver it safely.
And because 80% of our workforce comes from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, with 50+ languages spoken across the team, we match you on language, culture and routine, not just on who happens to be free that morning.
We deliver fast, person-centred disability support across Australia so participants can live on their terms. Explore our complete range of NDIS services.
We deliver tailored support for autism, psychosocial conditions, intellectual disability, acquired brain injury, physical disability, and more. We match participants with culturally responsive workers from our diverse workforce, ensuring consistent long-term care.
Practical daily support designed to foster independence and community engagement. Services include personal care, domestic assistance, gardening, transport, day programs, and community support across Australia.
Live comfortably and safely with Supported Independent Living (SIL), Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), or Short Term Accommodation (STA/respite). We match housing options to your lifestyle and surround you with 24/7 care.
We specialise in complex care and High Intensity Daily Personal Activities (HIDPA) for high support needs. Our experienced nursing and clinical teams create safe, dignified support plans tailored to your needs.

Let us handle the invoices, budgets, and NDIS paperwork behind the scenes. We take away the administrative stress so you can focus on getting the most out of your support.

Whether its a query about the services we provide, or just a general enquiry, we would love to hear from you!
Maple Community Services covers the whole plan: core supports such as personal care, domestic assistance, transport and community participation; Supported Independent Living, SDA and Short Term Accommodation; complex care and High Intensity Daily Personal Activities; plus support coordination and plan management. You can take one service or all of them, with the same team coordinating them.
Yes. Maple Community Services is registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, which means we can support you whether your plan is NDIA-managed, plan-managed or self-managed. You can check our registration and the supports we are approved to deliver on the Commission’s register at ndiscommission.gov.au.
In most cases, yes. More than 80% of our workforce comes from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and our team speaks over 50 languages, so we match you on language, culture and routine rather than on who happens to be available. Tell us your preference at referral and we will tell you honestly whether we can meet it.
Referrals are acknowledged within 2 hours during business hours. From referral to first shift, participants start on an average of 5 business days for everyday supports, and Supported Independent Living placements can happen within 24 hours where a suitable home is available.
No. You can come to us directly, through a family member, or through a coordinator. If you do have a coordinator, we work alongside them; if you do not and your plan funds one, we can talk you through whether it is worth using.
Yes. Plenty of participants begin with core supports and later add coordination, plan management or accommodation as their plan changes. Adding a service means a variation to your agreement, not a new intake from scratch.
NDIS services are the disability supports funded by a participant’s National Disability Insurance Scheme plan. They cover everyday help such as personal care, domestic assistance, transport and community access; skill-building supports such as therapy, support coordination and plan management; and capital items such as assistive technology, home modifications and Specialist Disability Accommodation. The NDIS publishes the full list of what its funding can and cannot be spent on.
Core supports fund everyday assistance and are the most flexible part of a plan — you can usually move funding between core categories. Capacity Building supports fund therapy, support coordination, plan management and skill development, and are stated separately, so funding cannot be moved between those categories. Capital supports fund one-off purchases such as assistive technology, home or vehicle modifications and Specialist Disability Accommodation, and can only be used for their stated purpose.
Approved NDIS supports are paid from your plan, not from your own money, and a provider claims against your funding rather than invoicing you personally. What the plan does not cover is ordinary living costs — rent, groceries, utilities, and a reasonable board and lodging contribution if you live in supported accommodation. Any charge outside your plan must be set out in your service agreement before you agree to it.
A service provider delivers the support itself: the personal care shift, the community access outing, the supported accommodation. A support coordinator does not deliver hands-on support; they help you understand your plan, choose providers, and connect the pieces so your funding is used well. Support coordination is funded under Capacity Building, and you can use both at the same time.
Yes. You can hold service agreements with as many providers as you like, and you can change one without touching the others, for example, keeping your therapist while switching who delivers your daily supports. Using a single provider across several supports cuts down on duplicated intakes and handovers, but it is a choice, not a requirement. You do not need NDIA approval to add or change a provider.
A registered provider has been audited against the NDIS Practice Standards and appears on the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission’s register. An unregistered provider has not. If your plan is NDIA-managed you must use registered providers. Plan-managed and self-managed participants can use either, with exceptions including Specialist Disability Accommodation, plan management and specialist behaviour support.
