You stay in control; we help you manage budgets, pay providers, and get the most value for your plan.
Managing an NDIS plan involves more than knowing how much funding you have. There are provider invoices to check, payments to process, spending to monitor, and different budgets to keep track of throughout your plan.
Maple Plan Management takes care of this financial administration while keeping you informed about your funding. Our Plan Managers process invoices, pay providers, track your spending, and provide regular budget updates, giving you greater visibility over your plan without having to manage the paperwork yourself.

Choose the right partner, not a provider.
I want independence, choice, and a team that knows my name
I need a trusted partner to share the load and provide peace of mind
I need a responsive partner for everyday support and complex, high-need referrals
Your NDIS Plan Manager plays a key role in managing your plan funding and ensuring your providers are paid on time. They handle invoice processing and budget tracking on your behalf, giving you peace of mind and more time to focus on your goals.
Your Plan Manager can communicate directly with your service providers or coordinate through you — depending on your preferences. They also provide regular updates and monthly spending statements to help you stay informed and in control of your NDIS budget.
Keeping up with invoices, payments, and budgets can take time. Our Plan Managers handle the day-to-day financial administration so you don’t have to manage everything yourself.
When several providers are delivering supports, keeping track of invoices and spending can become complicated. We help organise provider payments and monitor your budgets so you have a clearer picture of your funding.
Plan Management can give participants access to both registered and unregistered providers, provided the supports meet relevant NDIS requirements. We help manage the invoices and payments while you maintain choice over who provides your supports.
Managing NDIS finances alongside other responsibilities can add another layer of administration. We provide clear budget information and handle provider payments, helping families stay informed without having to manage every invoice themselves.
We work alongside Support Coordinators to help keep participant budgets and provider payments organised. Clear communication and spending information can also make it easier to identify funding concerns and plan ahead.

NDIS Plan Management is a service where a registered provider like Maple Community Services™ supports you in managing the funding within your NDIS plan. These providers are called Plan Managers, and their role is to help you handle the financial administration of your supports.
As an NDIS participant, you’ll go through a planning process to assess your needs and determine the most suitable support options. Once your goals and funding levels are identified, your NDIS plan is developed in collaboration with you, an NDIS representative, and any nominated service providers. This plan is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet your needs.
First of all, you need to apply for NDIS funding by filling out the Access Request Form and emailing it to the NDIA. Once they receive your form, they will subsequently invite you for a planning meeting to discuss the supports that are reasonable and necessary to you and what kind of funding would best suit your needs.
Once you have been approved for funding and you receive your budget, you can start creating your plan. During this initial meeting and continuously throughout your plan, you can set or change your goals to help you live a happy, healthy life. Your Plan Manager will help to facilitate these goals by connecting you to the most appropriate providers.
The funding under SIL supports the assistance and support needed in these situations rather than the costs of the accommodations themselves. Expenses such as rent, groceries, utilities, telephones, and internet access, as well as general household items such as furniture, appliances, and cooking utensils are the responsibility of the participant or may be supported through other government or non-government programs. Only assistive devices or aids can be supported through NDIS funding.
Your NDIS Plan outlines your goals, aspirations and the supports you require to reach them, plus the funding you receive from the NDIS. This is what is initially discussed at your planning meeting. Every participant has their own unique plan, created to meet your goals. Your first plan is the start of a lifelong relationship with the NDIS and, as your life and circumstances change, so will your plan.
Your plan includes the following information:
To write your goals, it’s important to reflect on your life and think about the things you enjoy, what you want to improve, and what you want to achieve. These can be written into shorter term and longer term goals and can be added to and changed throughout your plan. Your goals are very personal to you. Everyone’s goals are likely to be different, and a close family member or a friend can help you to brainstorm these goals
There are three main support purpose categories funded by the NDIS: Your plan includes the following information:
An NDIS Plan Manager manages the financial administration of a participant’s plan. This generally includes processing invoices, paying providers, tracking spending, and providing information about available funding and budget usage.
Choosing the right Plan Management Providers is an important decision that can significantly impact how you manage your NDIS plan and funding.
At Maple, we proudly hold the status of NDIS-registered plan management providers, ready to help you in whatever capacity you require. Your unique needs and preferences lie at the heart of our service approach. We prioritise understanding your goals, assessing the level of support you desire, and gauging your comfort level with the financial intricacies and administration aspects that come with plan management.
Whether you prefer the hands-on approach of managing your plan independently, the relief of entrusting the logistical and administrative aspects to another party or you lean towards a hybrid model. Our experts at Maple are dedicated to custom-tailoring a plan management strategy that suits your requirements with full disclosure and accuracy.
Plan Management can be separately funded in an NDIS plan when a participant chooses this management option. This means the cost of a Plan Manager does not need to come from the funding allocated to other approved supports.
If an invoice is missing information or can’t be processed, your Plan Manager may contact you or the provider to clarify the details. They’ll check that the claim meets NDIS requirements before submitting it for payment.
Plan Management focuses on the financial administration of an NDIS plan, such as invoices, provider payments, and budget tracking. Support Coordination helps participants understand and implement their plan, connect with providers, and coordinate their supports.
With Plan Management, a Plan Manager handles provider invoices and payments on your behalf. Self-managed participants manage these responsibilities themselves, while NDIA-managed funding involves the NDIA paying registered providers directly. Each option provides a different level of flexibility and responsibility.
