Priya was born in Fiji and moved to Australia when she was 8 years old. She is of Fijian-Indian heritage and follows Hinduism as her religion. She is fluent in English and Hindi, and has a beginner-level knowledge of Korean. She is proud of her cultural heritage and enjoys sharing her traditions and practices with others. Some common practices in her culture include Puja, which is a form of prayer, and different festivals that are celebrated throughout the year. She also enjoys practicing yoga and meditation.
Within her family, Priya and her loved ones participate in different festivals, including Diwali, Holi, and Navratri. These festivals begin with a prayer and are followed by a feast, music, and dance, bringing everyone together. Priya loves the festive traditions of her culture and the sense of togetherness and interconnectedness they bring.
Priya’s religious beliefs also play a significant role in her life. She loves the concept of Dharma, which relates to one’s duty of responsibilities and care.
