Exciting News! Maple Community Services is Proud to be a Major Partner of AFL Open!
We are thrilled to announce our major partnership with the AFL for the groundbreaking 2024 Toyota AFL Open, a flagship event dedicated to footballers with intellectual disabilities and wheelchair players.
Taking place at the South Pine Sports Complex in Queensland from 21-26 November, this event combines the best of the Toyota AFL National Inclusion Carnival and the Toyota Wheelchair AFL National Championships into one incredible tournament.
🔹 Over 200 players from across Australia will compete for national titles in:
- 2024 Toyota AFL Open – Wheelchair
- 2024 Toyota AFL Open – Inclusion
🔹 More than 90 matches will run concurrently, showcasing the spirit, passion, and commitment of these amazing athletes.
We are honored that AFL CEO Andrew Dillon has recognized and endorsed our work, highlighting the importance of creating inclusive pathways in Australian football. His words inspire us to continue our mission of making sports accessible to everyone.
As participation in disability inclusion programs grows, we are excited to see how this event will elevate the experience for competitors, families, and spectators alike. This is a pivotal moment for disability inclusion in sports, and we are proud to be part of it.
